Overview
Maitland City Council is seeking a suitably qualified and licensed waste processing Service Provider to deliver a high-performing bulky waste recovery service that supports safe, efficient, and environmentally responsible resource management.
Scope
The scope includes:
- Receiving bulky waste collected from the Principal's booked kerbside collection service
- Processing bulky waste received from the kerbside collection service
- Lawful disposal or recycling of bulky waste received from the kerbside collection service
Contractor Requirements
- Suitably qualified and licensed to undertake waste processing
- Ability to maximise resource recovery outcomes
- Lawful and responsible handling of all residual waste in accordance with relevant legislation
- Ability to divert waste from landfill
- Compliance with the Principal's environmental and operational standards
