The Moyhu Soldiers Memorial Hall, 24 Bartley Street Moyhu, was constructed and opened in November 1928. The hall was built to commemorate the residents of Moyhu who served their country in the First World War. It is well loved by its users, the broader community and is a great King Valley venue with renowned acoustic qualities, know as one of the best venues for performances outside of Wangaratta.
The original Jarrah floor in the main hall is badly undulating due to the heavily deteriorated timber stumps. Historically the hall has suffered from poor drainage and underfloor ventilation. This has been rectified and the stumps and flooring are ready to be renewed.
