The Ministry of Justice | Tāhū o te Ture has released this Request for Information (RFI) regarding the professional development of the Facilitator workforce for restorative justice services. There are five different restorative justice services included in this RFI.
1. Training for restorative justice facilitation
2. Continued professional development for restorative justice Facilitators
3. Accreditation for restorative justice Facilitators
4. Complaints
5. Support and promotion services for restorative justice.
We are requesting information from restorative justice providers, and training and education suppliers to:
• understand existing services and systems
• explore innovative approaches to deliver the services
• help inform our business case and to plan our next steps.
