Tender Description
The Mallee Catchment Management Authority (MCMA) is seeking to engage an experienced Principal Contractor (Airborne Electromagnetic Survey Principal Contractor) to deliver the Victorian Mallee AEM Survey Project (the Project).
The Principal Contractor will be responsible for:
- Detailed planning and execution of the Project, including contributing to the community engagement in terms of flight planning.
- Sub-contracting, technical oversight, and QA/QC supervision of the SkyTEM AEM data acquisition.
- Scoping and timely completion of the validation fieldworks required to support the AEM survey.
- Review and preparation of pre-existing AEM data acquired by the RESOLVE system for the Sunraysia and River Murray Corridor surveys. Assessment of these data alongside the new AEM survey data will form an integral part of this study.
- Data processing, inversions, product generation, and reporting that includes an interpretation of the mapped products in relation to the salinity management objectives of the MCMA (as detailed in Attachment C).
The tenderer’s proposal should conform to the project structure and detailed design set out in this documentation. Proposals will be assessed in terms of their value for money, tender evaluation criteria and considering:
- Overall appreciation of the project.
- Experience in delivering similar projects.
- Proposed schedule for completing the project
- Identification and treatment of risks.
- Costing considerations
