Tender Description
The City of Sydney uses a customised data collection and reporting platform for the reporting of its sustainability related Local Government Area (LGA) data to understand how the LGA is progressing towards environmental targets set in the City's environmental strategy. It also uses the platform to understand the effectiveness of its sustainability programs and initiatives. This information is used to better collaborate and engage with its stakeholders in understanding trends and performance.
Concurrently, the City of Sydney hosts the Resilient Sydney Program and Resilient Sydney data Platform through its partnership with the 33 local governments of metropolitan Sydney. The Resilient Sydney Platform is separately customised and configured to provide place-based environmental and resilience data to Greater Sydney councils by geography and by sector. This enables local councils to understand and benchmark their LGA's environmental footprint, shape policy and prioritise action in their area.
