Tender Description
Walcha swimming pool is a popular facility during the warmer months for the Walcha community and visitors to the area. The Walcha swimming pool refurbishment is required due to both structural deterioration of the facility and to adhere to current NSW heath requirements for public swimming pools. As it is the only public swimming pool facility in the local government area the community rely on the facility for education, sport and recreation. The planed works schedule is during the 2023 closure commencing 3rd of April through to completion 30th September 2023.
Design Walcha Swimming Pool Refurbishment scope will be in reference to recommendations made in Appendix A, Pool Structures & Pool Water Treatment Report and Appendix B Alterations and Additions (Silver). The design shall be broken down into the following sections:
a) Kids Pool Reticulation System and Kids Pool Water Treatment Plant
b) 50m Pool Reticulation and 50m Pool Structural Restoration
c) Amenity Upgrade Alterations and Additions (Silver)
d) Compliance Works in accordance with ASNZ3000, AS3500 and AS3780
The works include design of improved return water capacity for the 50m pool, design of new separate kids pool reticulation system, scope, design and construction cost estimates for addressing areas of structural deterioration including addressing pool leaks, scope, design and construction cost estimates for addressing identified pool treatment system non-conformances, design and construction cost estimates for identified amenity upgrades.
