Tender Description
The Hawkweed Eradication Project operates in the Falls Creek Alpine Resort and adjacent Bogong High Plains area of the Alpine National Park. Hawkweeds are a State prohibited weed. The on ground works component of the project involves monitoring all known infestations- including the Rocky Valley and Pretty Valley Heavily Infested areas and survey for new infestations. All plants found will be treated. The work will be conducted on the Bogong High Plains in the Alpine National Park, the Falls Creek Ski resort and head lease area. The program is designed to maximise the opportunity to find and treat plants before they set seed with the aim of zero seed set.
