Cafe Management and Operation Tender SWTAFE and WCC

⁠⁠⁠South West TAFE and Warrnambool City Council are seeking tenders for the management and operation of:

1. Warrnambool TAFE campus café/cafeteria, or
2. New Warrnambool Library and Learning Centre Café, or
3. Both

1. South West TAFE is seeking proposals from experienced food and beverage operators to deliver a benchmark café-style operation which reflects our ambition to take a fresh approach to all aspects of our future delivery and find better ways of achieving positive outcomes for SW TAFE and our customers.

To ensure we are delivering on the needs of both the Institute and the Warrnambool community, we are looking for a business operator to provide a high-quality café to cater to our existing students and staff, and importantly to have the potential to attract new visitors. We want our Café to enhance our community connections and add to the vibrancy of the Campus itself.

We are seeking an operator who can review the current Café offerings within the Warrnambool market and deliver fresh café dining services.

We believe there is a real opportunity to build on the existing customer base and attract a far greater portion of the local businesses and community to utilise our Café and function facilities.

It is intended that the Café will operate 5 days a week (Monday to Friday – 8.00 am to 4.00 pm) and a Licence Agreement will be offered for a term of 2 years (weeks per annum to be negotiated with the successful provider).

2. City Council is seeking proposals from passionate and enthusiastic food and beverage operators to deliver a pre-made and beverage service which provides library visitors with a friendly, inclusive and relaxed reason to stay, socialise and belong in the ‘heart’ of the community. We are looking for a business operator that can provide amazing coffee and customer service super-stars able to provide an exceptional and personalised service to our customers.

It is intended that the Café will operate 6 days a week during library open hours.

Monday, Tuesday 9.30am – 5pm

Wednesday – Friday 9.30am – 6pm

Saturday 10am – 2pm

A Licence Agreement will be offered for a term of 2 years (51 weeks per annum to be negotiated with the successful provider).
