Summary
The Fellowship Committee (FC) is seeking expressions of interest from Fellows in Aotearoa New Zealand to join as a representative.
Description
The Fellowship Committee is a peak Board Committee that works closely with all College bodies to support the enhancement of services to members and identify ways to increase the value and relevance of membership to fellows and trainees.
The successful candidate will work collegiately with other members to make recommendations to the Board on important issues that will impact all members of the College. Some of the areas that the Fellowship Committee is responsible for are:
- management of the College elections and generic rules and guidelines as appropriate
- overseeing the development of member services
- supporting the pastoral care needs of Fellows
- communicating with members including engagement surveys to assess the engagement of members and their satisfaction with College services
- overseeing the work of the College library
- College Congress, Ceremony and College wide celebrations and events, such as anniversary celebrations
- making recommendations to the Board in relation to the awarding of Honorary Fellowships, other than recommendations made by Divisions, Faculties or Chapters.
The Committee holds 3 video conferences a year, plus 1 face-to-face meeting.
Members are appointed to the Committee for an initial 3-year term with the option to renew for a further term.
