This RFQ is for seeking a service provider to deliver the implementation of the Single Touch Payroll (STP) 2.0, to ANU STP-enabled solutions.
Single Touch Payroll (STP) is a reporting system introduced by Australian Taxation Office (ATO) to collect the information of taxation and superannuation. The aim of this system is to reduce employers' reporting burdens to multiple government agencies.
As one of the universities in Australia, The Australian National University is obligated to report payroll information to ATO through STP-enabled software.
In 2019-2022, the government announced the expansion of the data collected through STP, which has been delivered by Oracle. This expansion of STP or also known as STP Phase 2, helps Services Australia's customers or employees to get the right payment at the right time.
The mandatory start date for ANU's STP Phase 2 reporting is 1 January 2023.
