Summary
Expressions of interest are open for 3 vacant positions on the Advanced Training Committee (ATC) in Gastroenterology.
Description
The Committee positions open are:
- 1 x Adult Medicine member
- 1 x Paediatric member
- 1 x Advanced Trainee representative
The ATC oversees the Advanced Training program in Gastroenterology in the Adult Medicine and Paediatric Divisions, and is responsible for:
- assessment of Advanced Training in Gastroenterology
- review of Advanced Training settings in Gastroenterology
- development and review of Gastroenterology training program requirements
- review of the Advanced Training Curriculum in Gastroenterology when required.
Members of the ATC are appointed for an initial 3-year term, with the option to renew for a further term.
The Committee holds 1 face-to-face meeting and 1 video conference a year, with additional meetings held under exceptional circumstances.
