Buying for Victoria – Advanced Tender Notice
Development Victoria (DV) requires the services of suitably qualified consultants and contractors to deliver the following advice to inform technical and commercial feasibility assessments of at least seven (7) regional Victorian sites for a range of civic and social infrastructure:
- Design Advice, including engineering and range of specialist sub-disciplines
- Cost Planning Advice
- Town Planning Advice
- Heritage (including Aboriginal Cultural Heritage) Advice and Site Investigations
- Environmental Advice and Site Investigations
- Surveying Advice and Site Investigations
- Programming Advice
- Geotechnical & Contamination Advice and Site Investigations
- Sustainability Advice
Each package of works will be released via separate Request for Quotes (RFQ) or Request for Proposals (RFP) as a consultancy model or works using Development Victoria’s standard form consultancy agreements and the modified AS2124 as applicable.
Each RFQ/P will be released via a Selective Tender process to suitably qualified consultants or contractors, including where appropriate those who are preregistered in an appropriate category of the Construction Supply Register or other government pre-qualified supplier register.
The consultants or contractors will need to demonstrate appropriate and relevant experience. The procurement will be subject to the Ministerial Directions for Public Construction Procurement in Victoria, Local Jobs First obligations and the Social Procurement Framework.
The engagements to be entered into by DV are subject to final project arrangements being formally established between DV and other parties within the Victorian government.
Full detail of the project and scope of works for each package will be distributed to invited tenderers with the tender notice(s).
