Chlorine Generator Replacement and Backwash System Upgrade, Cockburn ARC

⁠⁠⁠The City of Cockburn is seeking the services of a suitably qualified and experienced contractor to undertake Plantroom upgrades - Chlorine Generator Replacement and Backwash System Upgrade at Cockburn Aquatic and Recreation Centre (ARC).

Cockburn Arc is the Principal’s regional multipurpose facility that includes a community aquatic and recreation centre and the Fremantle Football Club’s (FFC) elite training and administration facilities.

Service disruption must be kept to a minimum and works may be required to be conducted outside of the aquatic centre public usage hours.

The scope of works is summarised below and includes, but is not limited to:

• Demolition of certain water treatment systems

• Re-routing existing services pertaining to the system upgrades;

• Supply of equipment, installation commissioning and testing of the systems;

• Associated work on building elements within and adjacent to the systems.

It is the Principal's expectation that the proposed Contract will commence in June 2022 with an anticipated Practical Completion achieved within two weeks of commencement of works on site.

A mandatory site meeting will be held at Cockburn ARC , 31 Veterans Parade, Cockburn Central WA 6164 on Tuesday 24 May commencing at 1.00pm.
