Arena Joondalup - Electrical Infrastructure Upgrades

⁠⁠⁠Works for Electrical Infrastructure Upgrades at Arena Joondalup

Scope:

The works comprise the supply and installation of the Electrical Infrastructure replacement to FIBA Arena Joondalup.

1. Mobilisation and site establishment

2. Survey and pegging of switchboard locations, cable routes and pole locations

3. Traffic management

4. Coordination with Western Power for disconnection and reconnection of electricity supply

5. Disconnection and removal of redundant equipment

6. Trenching, backfilling, compaction and directional drilling

7. AFL floodlighting earthing.

8. Site Main Switchboard

9. Supply/hire temporary 650kVA generator and locate adjacent Aquatic switchboard (DB-4) Disconnect Aquatic submain from MSB-1 and connect temporary generator to DB-4. Maintain generator for the duration of works.

10. Supply/hire temporary 650kVA generator and locate adjacent Lake Pump switchboard.

Disconnect Lake Pump switchboard submain from MSB-1 and connect temporary generator to Lake Pump Switchboard. Maintain generator for the duration of works.

11. Supply/hire temporary 160kVA generator and locate adjacent AFL DC-1 switchboard.

Disconnect AFL DC-1 switchboard submain from MSB-1 and connect temporary generator to AFL DC-1 Switchboard. Maintain generator for the duration of works.

12. Supply & install Schneider NSX400 circuit breaker on SMSB (left) in existing spare space.

Disconnect MSSB-1 submain from MSB-1 (right), joint and extend cabling and connect to new installed NSX400 circuit breaker.

Set breaker to 250A

13. Disconnect MSSB-2 submain from MSB-1 (right), joint and extend cabling and connect to existing PFC Main Switch (left) circuit breaker.

Set breaker to 125A

14. Supply & install Schneider NSX160 circuit breaker on MSB-2 in existing spare space.

Disconnect DB-1 submain from MSB-1 (right), joint and extend cabling and connect to new installed NSX160 circuit breaker.

Set breaker to 100A.

15. Supply & install Schneider NSX160 circuit breaker on MSB-2 in existing spare space.

Disconnect DB-2 submain from MSB-1 (right), joint and extend cabling and connect to new installed NSX160 circuit breaker.

Set breaker to 100A.

16. Supply & install Schneider NSX160 circuit breaker on MSB-2 in existing spare space. 

Disconnect DB-3 submain from MSB-1 (right), joint and extend cabling and connect to new installed NSX160 circuit breaker.

Set breaker to 160A.

17. Supply & install temporary cable tray on underside of ceiling from MSB house service to MSB-2. Supply & install Schneider NSX160 circuit breaker on MSB-2 in existing spare space. Supply & install Schneider NSX160 circuit breaker on MSB-2 in existing spare space. Disconnect MSB-House submain from MSB-1 (right), joint and extend cabling and connect to new installed NSX160 circuit breaker.

Set breaker to 125A

18. Disconnect Maintenance shed DB

19. Disconnect DB-R (Rugby)

20. Disconnect Hockey Field DB

21. Disconnect South floods (DB-9)

22. Arrange with Western Power to disconnect and remove MSB-1 (right) and prepare location ready for installation of new SMSB tiers 4 to 6.

23. Supply and install new SMSB tiers 4 to 6.

24. Arrange with Western Power to reconnect new SMSB tiers 4 to 6.

25. Disconnect MSSB-1 submain from SMSB (left), joint and extend cabling and connect to new SMSB tiers 4 to 6

26. Disconnect MSSB-2 submain from SMSB (left), joint and extend cabling and connect to new SMSB tiers 4 to 6

27. Disconnect MSSB-2 submain from SMSB (left), joint and extend cabling and connect to new SMSB tiers 4 to 6

28. Disconnect DB-1 submain from MSB-2 joint and extend cabling and connect to new SMSB tiers 4 to 6

29. Disconnect DB-2 submain from MSB-2 joint and extend cabling and connect to new SMSB tiers 4 to 6

30. Disconnect DB-3 submain from MSB-2 joint and extend cabling and connect to new SMSB tiers 4 to 6

31. Disconnect DB-House submain from MSB-2 joint and extend cabling and connect to new SMSB tiers 4 to 6

32. Joint, extend cabling and reconnect Maintenance shed DB

33. Joint, extend cabling and reconnect DB-R (Rugby)

34. Joint, extend cabling and reconnect AFL lighting

35. Joint, extend cabling and reconnect Hockey Field DB

36. Joint, extend cabling and reconnect South floods (DB-9)

37. Disconnect MSB-2 non essential submain from SMSB (left), joint and extend cabling and connect to new SMSB tiers 4 to 6 Lake Pump DB circuit breaker

Set breaker to 630A

38. Disconnect MSB-2 essential submain from SMSB (left), joint and extend cabling and connect to new SMSB tiers 4 to 6 Aquatic DB circuit breaker

Set breaker to 630A

39. Arrange with Western Power to disconnect and remove SMSB (right) and prepare location ready for installation of new SMSB tiers 1 to 3.

40. Supply and install new SMSB tiers 1 to 3. Connect tiers 1 to 3 & 4 to 6 together.

41. Joint, extend cabling and reconnect DB Pump Shed

42. Joint, extend cabling and reconnect SEF-01 Basketball Hall

43. Joint, extend cabling and reconnect SEF-02 Basketball Hall

44. Joint, extend cabling and reconnect Lift 1

45. Joint, extend cabling and reconnect Lift 2

46. Joint, extend cabling and reconnect Lake Pump DB

47. Disconnect DB-B Sub board Wolfs submain from MSB-2 joint and extend cabling and connect to new SMSB tiers 4 to 6

48. Disconnect DB-F Football submain from MSB-2 joint and extend cabling and connect to new SMSB tiers 4 to 6

49. Disconnect Fire duty control and Fire pump control submain from MSB-2 joint and extend cabling and connect to new SMSB tiers 4 to 6

50. Disconnect MSB-2 non essential submain

51. Disconnect MSB-2 essential submain

52. Remove MSB-2

53. Terminate new Aquatic switchboard submains to new SMSB tiers 4 to 6. Change over from temporary generator to permanent supply.

54. Arrange with Western Power to reconnect new SMSB tiers 4 to 6. 

Aquatic Switchboard (DB-4)

55. Supply and install new Aquatic Switchboard (DB-4) including concrete footing and conduit to existing location.

56. Terminate new Aquatic switchboard submains to from SMSB tiers 4 to 6.

57. Disconnect Mechanical Vent Board submain from existing DB-4 joint and extend cabling and connect to new Aquatic switchboard (DB-4)

58. Disconnect Pool Plant Board submain from existing DB-4 joint and extend cabling and connect to new Aquatic switchboard (DB-4)

59. Disconnect DB-5 submain from existing DB-4 joint and extend cabling and connect to new Aquatic switchboard (DB-4)

60. Disconnect DB-6 submain from existing DB-4 joint and extend cabling and connect to new Aquatic switchboard (DB-4)

61. Disconnect DB-7 submain from existing DB-4 joint and extend cabling and connect to new Aquatic switchboard (DB-4)

62. Supply and install new DB-4A including new submain from DB-4, termination of all existing power and lighting circuits from existing DB-4

Distribution Board 1 (DB-1)

63. Disconnect & remove existing DB-1

64. Supply and install new DB-1 and reconnect all circuits

65. Confirm by means of isolation circuits schedules. Produce new circuit schedules.

Distribution Board 1 (DB-2)

66. Disconnect & remove existing DB-2

67. Supply and install new DB-2 and reconnect all circuits

68. Confirm by means of isolation circuits schedules. Produce new circuit schedules.

Distribution Board 1 (DB-3)

69. Disconnect & remove existing DB-3

70. Supply and install new DB-3 and reconnect all circuits

71. Confirm by means of isolation circuits schedules. Produce new circuit schedules.

Plantroom Switchboard

72. Disconnect & remove existing plant room switchboard

73. Supply and install new Plant room switchboard and reconnect all circuits

74. Confirm by means of isolation circuits schedules. Produce new circuit schedules.

75. Inspection, testing & commissioning

76. Manuals and “Record” Drawings

77. Maintenance during the Defects Liability Period
