The Rural City of Wangaratta (Council) is seeking a suitably qualified contractor to undertake the demolition and reconstruction of retaining walls in Merriwa Park, Wangaratta. The existing retaining walls are of timber construction and are now failing.
The Work comprises of construction of a deep bored pier foundation system, local cutting and filing to reshape and flatten embankment slopes, Construction of gabion walls to accommodate local cutting and filing, replacement of existing retaining walls within new retaining walls within the existing tree protection zone, reconstruction of Harvey Norman carpark following construction works, associated underground drainage and concrete works, and associated works as shown in the design drawings.
