Design and Construction of Benolong Road Bridge

ABOUT THE TENDER: Tenders are invited for T22-008 Design and Construction of Benolong Road Bridge.

REGISTRATION: Tender documents must be obtained following registration on the tender portal.

ENQUIRIES: Tender enquiries should be directed to Council's Project Engineer, David Omokaro, on (02) 6801-4836 or via the online forum.

SUBMISSIONS: Completed responses should be submitted via the electronic tender box (preferred) or see option below. All completed submissions lodged MUST be submitted as specified within the tender documentation. Ensure that Council Tender documents and response schedules are attached, with response schedules signed and submitted. Tenders that do not follow this requirement will be regarded as non-conforming tenders AND WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

The canvassing of Councillors and/or staff members in relation to this matter will automatically disqualify the applicant from the process.

PRE TENDER SITE MEETING: A site inspection/meeting has been arranged for this tender to be held on Tuesday 10 May 2022, at 10am - Benolong Bridge is located along Benolong Road, south of Dubbo, approximately 22km on the Newell Highway, off Obley Road.

Failure to attend the mandatory inspection/meeting may result in ineligibility to tender except in the case where non-attendance was due to an extreme emergency or unforeseen circumstances.

Respondents will receive a successful submission receipt timed and dated upon completion of an electronic submission through tender portal/

TENDER BOX: T22-008 Design and Construction of Benolong Road Bridge and placed in the Tender Box located at Council's Civic Administration Building, Church Street, Dubbo (PO Box 81 Dubbo, NSW 2830), prior to the closing date and time

CLOSING DATE AND TIME: Tenders will be accepted up to 10:00am on Tuesday, 24 May 2022 and submissions must be fully received by this time. The Council is not bound to accept the lowest priced tender or all or any part of a tender and reserves the right to conduct the request for tender process and select the successful respondent(s) as it sees fit. Dubbo Regional Council has a Purchasing and Procurement Policy that includes provisions to support local business. Please refer to the tender documentation for details. Late, verbal or emailed tenders will not be accepted as legislated by Local Government (General) Regulations 2005 s55.
