Tender Description
The scope of work for this project covers the detailed design and construction of five replacement bridges/culverts located on Jingellic Road between 13.4km and 19.4km from Holbrook at Wantagong, NSW. The waterways of these crossings are Serpentine Creek, Fish Creek, Scent Bottle Creek, Spring Creek and Wantagong Creek.
The existing creek crossings have been assessed as not meeting the load capacity requirements for future HML traffic and will need to be replaced.
Council will accept tenders for the design and construction of these five replacement structures. Tenderers are encouraged to submit tenders for either a bridge or an RCBC type structure at each of the five locations. Traffic must be maintained at all times during construction and each proposal must incorporate this condition and address constructability issues.
The design for the future road reconstruction has been completed and design proposals must consider meeting the future horizontal and vertical road geometry.
A non-compulsory pre-tender meet will be held on site at 2pm on Friday 29 April 2022.
The meeting place is near the eastern end of combined works areas.
Tenderers may inspect the site at any time and are strongly urged to do so if unable to attend the scheduled meeting.
