Tender Description
Toowoomba Regional Council (TRC), in its own right and on behalf of TRC and Western Downs Regional Council (WDRC), is inviting tender submissions for waste and recycling collection and recyclables transport and processing services.
The two (2) Councils have agreed to simultaneously procure service providers to achieve the objectives listed in this brief.
The Request for Tender (RFT) process and contract/s award is being undertaken with the approval of the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) with each Council committing to undertake its own assessment of submissions against an agreed evaluation plan and criteria.
For clarity there is no restriction on each Council resolving to accept a tender submission independently of the other Council’s decision, nor is there any restriction on each Council resolving to accept a submission from the same Tenderer as the other Council as a deliberate initiative to provide savings or efficiencies.
