Overview
Monadelphous is seeking expressions of interest for Site Waste Removal Services in connection with the construction of the greenfield Brigalow Peaking Power Plant (PPP), a gas-fired power station being delivered for CS Energy.
Scope
The services scope is to provide collection, transport, tracking, and lawful disposal or recycling of construction waste and regulated (trackable) waste generated on the project, in accordance with the Environmental Protection Act 1994, Environmental Protection Regulation 2019, and all applicable Queensland regulated waste tracking requirements.
The scope will include possible waste streams but is not limited to the below:
- Hydrocarbon-contaminated soil
- Waste oils and lubricants
- Oily water and hydrocarbon mixtures
- Waste fuels
- Paints, thinners and solvents
- Chemical waste
- Contaminated absorbents, rags and PPE
- Grease trap waste
- Batteries
- Aerosols
- Contaminated containers and drums
- Asbestos-containing materials (where separately engaged and licensed)
