About the Role
The APS6 Test Analyst is accountable under limited direction to undertake complex work that is guided by legislation, policies, procedures, standards, methodologies and precedents.
The position is responsible for coordinating and facilitating User Acceptance Test (UAT) system enhancements. It will work with a small test team in preparing for UAT activities, engaging with stakeholders to facilitate support for test execution and provide reporting results on testing progress.
APS6 Test Analyst is responsible for preparing and executing test cases and test scripts, highlighting and reporting defects and monitoring until resolution is complete. It will generate testing related reports and dashboards for test completions and defect reporting.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
• Responsible and Accountable for execution of UAT in business systems, portals and mobile applications
• Create test cases, test data and the creation of manual and automated test scripts
• Support acceptance criteria testing and System Integration Testing where required
• Review technical documentation in order to identify dependencies and risks related to testing
• Manage the overall experience of the UAT testers as vehicle for business readiness
• Work closely with the OCIO to investigate and triage defects raised by business users
• Review user stories, technical designs and wireframes in order to prepare test cases which align to the coverage matrix
• Contribute to Post Implementation and Post Incident Reviews
