Tender Description
The Great Ocean Road Coast and Parks Authority is intending to release a Request for Tender in April 2022 for the completion of a major uplift to the Apollo Bay Recreation Reserve campground located in Apollo Bay. The works include renovation of three existing amenity blocks and construction of an entirely new one, including construction of a Changing Places facility; minor asbestos removal; extension to a camp kitchen including new open pergola; construction of approx. 300m of new access road plus earthworks; construction of new entry roads from Gambier Street; service works including sewer, water and stormwater; a new playground and landscaping features; plus other ancillary works.
The project will request practical completion by 30 October 2022. The project team is aware of supply chain pressures for construction materials and invites alternate submissions if this date is unachievable.
