872a-2021-22 Solution Architect – Data and Systems

⁠⁠⁠The Architect will work across delegated Stream(s) of work with the ROBUST Program to deliver into operations fit for purpose integrated Solution Architectures. This would include but not limited to working within a multidisciplinary team of Business Analysts, Program Architects, Project and Program Managers, Bureau, and vendor implementors, technology SME's and Business Stakeholders.

The key focus area for this role will be as follows:

• Define new solutions for the handling and processing of data to support new applications and remediation of existing applications
• Analysing existing data usage and consumption requirement to inform proposed solution
• Ensuring that security and resilience is designed into the solutions
• Incorporate good data design and modelling practices into the solutions.

Experience in environment where there is a high volume of complex operational data would be highly beneficial.

The Solution Architect would be expected to drive a Solution Outcome in a consultative manner and produce deliverables that are in alignment with artefacts developed by the Bureau Architecture practise and the ROBUST Program deliverable standards. Examples of

Expected Deliverables:

• Solution Architecture Description Completion of this artefact, via inputs from various sources, consultation with relevant business and program stakeholders and presentation at Architecture Review Group (ARG). This artefact includes but not limited to the following components:
o Conceptual Architecture
o Physical Architecture
o Performance Architecture
o Data Management Solution Designs
o Data Migration Designs
o Risks Issues and dependencies
o Deployment considerations

• Options & Position Papers This artefact includes but not limited to the following components:
o Analysis of a technology or implementation problem as directed by the Enterprise/Lead Architect.
o Market Analysis of emerging and current technology landscape.
o Consultation with relevant Bureau stakeholders to gather current state

All deliverables to be consistent with the program delivery method templates and processes
