This Tender is invited by the Issuer.
The Department of Education, Skills and Employment is seeking the services of an organisation experienced in the review and redevelopment of strategy documents to update the department’s Cloud Strategy. Since the strategy was last developed in 2018, the environment has changed significantly as the department has continued to expand its use of the public cloud.
The department would like develop a strategy which is aligned with business outcomes, modern application development practices, security requirements, and efficient delivery of supporting infrastructure. It should also outline short, medium and longer term target states supporting the overall direction of the strategy.
It is expected that in the development of the new Cloud Strategy, there is broad consultation across senior executives, application development teams and underpinning technology teams to ensure that the strategy considers the existing environments that already exist in the public cloud as well as the department’s private cloud environments.
By undertaking this procurement activity the department will have a modern Cloud Strategy to enable the department to plan and re-align its resources to maximise the benefits of public cloud adoption.
