The Organisation
Western Power is a Western Australian State Government owned corporation responsible for building, maintaining and operating an electricity network that connects our 2.3 million customers to traditional and renewable energy sources, delivering an essential service to our community.
Introduction
The current Video Wall visualisation system at our control centre supports our decision-making process by providing visibility into the operation network status, exception alerts and key performance indicators. We are looking for new like to like replacement to mitigate existing issues in line with Industry best practices.
The Scope
Western Power is seeking registrations of interest from suitably qualified and experienced organisations, for the provision of:
- Investigate and deploy a new strategic video wall solution to replace the existing one at Perth Control Centre (PCC); and
- Deploy the same solution at the Forrestfield Control Centre (FCC)
Services required under the project would include:
- Review and evaluate existing Videowall solution at PCC
- Propose new videowall solution to replace / upgrade existing videowall solution at PCC
- Implement new videowall solution to FCC
- Detailed technical documentation supporting proposed solution
- Warranty support for a minimum of 4 weeks post implementation
- Ongoing annual support including hardware and software components of the solution
Registration Requirements
Suppliers are required to respond to the following for the ROI submission:
- Provide details on the product(s)/service(s) and how it/they can contribute to satisfying the scope requirements.
- Provide examples on where and how your product(s)/services(s) have been used to satisfy the scope requirements.
- Reference at least Customers. Include description of the engagement, plus name, company and contact email/phone number.

Western Power will review and evaluate the registrations received against the scope requirements. If successful, the shortlisted registrants would then be progressed and invited to submit an Expression of Interest and/or a Request for Proposal.
