This RFQ seeks to engage an experienced and suitably qualified Vendor to submit a Quote to undertake a detailed design for the proposed 3.5 kilometres of multi-use trails at Lake Hume Albury.
Located 20km east of Albury's CBD, Lake Hume is one of Australia's most important water storage facilities. The Wagirra Trail is a multiuse recreational trail that stretches from Wonga Wetlands in the west to Union Bridge on the Murray River in the east.
The future scope of the trail is to extend to Mungabareena and further to Lake Hume. The extension of the trail at Lake Hume will be the first section of trail constructed away from the Murray River, with an objective to activate the natural area between Lake Hume Village and Bethanga Bridge for walkers, nature enthusiasts and bike riders.
