Tender Description
Tamworth Regional Council (Council) has received funding from the Australian Government to construct a Bicentennial Park River Walk, being a walking loop along the Peel River off an existing footpath along the levee bank.
This contract relates to the engagement of a suitably experienced civil Contractor to construct works which have already been designed, and are included within Volume 3.
It is requested that prices are provided for the construction and commissioning of a 2 metre wide concrete shared path and an alternative 1.5 wide path both options to have two sets of stairs to connect this path to an existing footpath along the levee bank.
This package of works has been allocated up to $150,000 ex GST. Council reserves the right to negotiate with the preferred contractor on the final width of the path to suit available funds.
TRC's timeframe is to have the path constructed and completed by 10 June 2022.
