Melbourne Zoo is seeking to engage a lead Maintenance Contractor to conduct rectification works and reactive repairs on Melbourne Zoo's Orangutan Facility. The public displays contain a variety of assets including tall timber climbing towers, metal poles for orangutan movement, ropes, water drinkers as well as the perimeter boundary.
The rectification works may be conducted over a period of two years and will be scheduled and performed in accordance with the engineer's report and in collaboration with Melbourne Zoo. Reactive repairs will be as required throughout the duration of the contract.
The term of the contract is two (2) years with the option, at the sole discretion of Zoos Victoria to extend by three (3) x one (1) year periods (Five years in total ) and is based on a schedule of rates.
Melbourne Zoo reserves the right to award a single contract and or multiple contract or none at all.
