Tender Description
The request seeks to engage experienced sellers who have capability to provide program architecture expertise to the Simplified Trade System (STS) Implementation Taskforce (‘Taskforce’).
Working part of a multi-disciplinary team the Solution Architect will proactively and independently work closely with internal and external stakeholders to:
provide digital architecture advice and create ICT systems architecture blueprints
review ICT Scoping Study input provided by agencies to assist in identifying the key ICT systems that form the cross-border trade system across government
support and actively contribute to the development of current and future state systems ICT architecture maps and blueprints
contribute to identifying ICT system risks and opportunities for improvement
provide ICT solution architecture recommendations and advice to the future state digital investment roadmap including recommendations on the sequencing of ICT systems implementation
consult with agency technical experts to ascertain more in-depth information on their ICT systems, to clarify assumptions, and to inform the development of future state ICT architecture options
Develop technical and operational documents and diagrams by mapping business and user requirements to the systems technical requirements
contribute to continuous improvement activities and support the development and implementation of processes to improve Digital Strategy team delivery
provide accurate and timely advice on the delivery and achievement of key ICT architecture mapping activities.
The Solution Architect must attend meetings, from time to time, as required by the Agency in delivering the Services. The Agency reserves the right to change any in-person meetings/bookings to telephone or video conferences as necessary.
The Solution Architect must have the ability to manage a high workload with limited supervision and work remotely when required.
Note: preference is to work from ACT however arrangements can be discussed based on suitability of candidate.
