Product Management - DevOps Engineer - PROC-AS-254

⁠⁠⁠The Department is seeking a highly motivated and independent candidate who is a skilled DevOps Engineer to work as part of an existing software development team. This role will be responsible for managing and overseeing the build and enhancement of containerisation of applications and managing the DEVOPS CI/CD pipeline.

This project will have an ongoing requirement within the Department and high priority in build and deliver of this essential function.

This role will increase the speed and quality assurance of the uplift process for the containerised applications and improve the uptime of the development environment, improving continuous development capability.

The successful candidate will be required to:

- Manage the existing DEVOPS CI/CD pipeline, using Jenkins
- Containerise and manage the deployment of applications using Docker and Kubernetes
- Produce technical documentation to align to as-built systems

The successful candidate will have the following Essential skills and experience:

- DevOps Engineer
- Linux Administration
- Bash Scripting
- Docker
- CI/CD (Jenkins)
- Kubernetes
- Helm
- PKI (OpenSSL)

The successful candidate may have the following Desirable skills and experience:

- Java Script
- Microsoft Active Directory (AD, ADFS4)
- ElasticSearch / ELK Stack
