Tender Description
Programmed Facility Management Pty Ltd (PFM) on behalf of Department of Finance (DOF) and Department of Education (DOE) are seeking Tenders from suitably qualified and experienced contractors to undertake remediation works of hydrotherapy pools at selected schools in the Perth Metropolitan area.
IMPORTANT NOTE: It is a condition to obtain entrance to a DOE site that all workers comply to the most current Department of Health mandates.
The Work includes but is not limited to the provision of equipotential bonding in accordance with AS/NZS 3000, regulatory authorities and equipment supplier’s recommendations.
It is expected that the successful Tenderer will work to ensure that all items within each of the school pools outlined in the documentation achieve compliance with the above documents.
Furthermore, it is expected that the Tenderer will provide record of Earth Continuity testing for each site that demonstrates compliance with these requirements. The Tenderer is required to provide Earth Continuity testing results consistent with those provided in Attachment 1 – Scope & Specification.
These works will require part demolition and refurbishment of a range of existing areas within each facility. As such, it is expected that the Tenderer will return the site to the same, or improved, condition as the facility was before any rectification works commenced. This includes but is not limited to:
• Installation of like for like tiling and grouting
• Reconstruction/replacement of concrete surrounds
• Reinstallation of paving
The school premises may be occupied during the period of this Contract. The Tenderer shall ensure that it causes minimal inconvenience and disturbance to the occupants.
