Wentworth Healthcare Limited, provider of the Nepean Blue Mountains Primary Health Network, is seeking to commission a suitably qualified organisation to deliver the Commonwealth Psychosocial Support (CPS) Program across the Nepean Blue Mountain region, including Blue Mountains, Hawkesbury, Lithgow and Penrith local government areas. The CPS Program will commence from 1 July 2022.
The CPS Program delivers psychosocial support services to adults with severe mental illness and associated psychosocial functional impairment who are not accessing services through the National Disability Insurance Scheme. The non-clinical psychosocial support can be provided on an individual or group level and within a range of settings. Support services will focus on building capacity and stability in the following areas based on individual needs:
- social skills, friendships and family connections
- managing daily living needs, including financial management and budgeting
- finding and maintaining secure accommodation
- vocational skills and goals including volunteering
- educational and training goal
- maintaining physical wellbeing, including exercise
- managing drug and alcohol addictions
- broader life skills including confidence and resilience.
