Replacement Retaining Wall, Consul General’s Residence - Sydney

⁠⁠⁠The Consulate General of the United States of America in Sydney, Australia invites you to

submit a quotation for replacement of a retaining wall at the Consul General’s residence in

Woollahra, New South Wales, Australia.

The Government intends to award a firm fixed-price contract resulting from this request for

quotations to the lowest priced technically acceptable quoter who is a responsible contractor. We

intend to award a contract/purchase order based on initial quotations, without holding

discussions, although we may hold discussions with companies in the competitive range if there

is a need to do so.

All firms that respond to the solicitation must be technically qualified and financially responsible

to perform the work. At a minimum, each offeror must meet the following requirements when

submitting their proposal:

• Be able to understand written and spoken English;

• Have an established business with a permanent address and telephone listing;

• Have the necessary personnel, equipment, and financial resources available to perform

the work;

• Have all licenses and permits required by local law;

• Meet all local insurance requirements;

• Have the ability to obtain a performance and guarantee bond and a payment bond, or to

post adequate performance security, such as irrevocable letters of credit or guarantees

issued by a reputable financial institution;

• Have no adverse criminal record;

• Have no political or business affiliation which could be considered contrary to the

interests of the United States; and,

• Have good experience and past performance records;

FAR 36.204 requires a statement of the magnitude of the project, including an estimated price

range; this effort is estimated at between USD $100,000 and USD $250,000.

A site visit will occur on Wednesday, March 16, 2022, at 1:00pm, and all prospective quoters are

invited to attend. The site location and registration information, including the registration

deadline, is noted in the solicitation package.

April 1, 2022, at 5:00pm local time in Sydney, Australia. No quotations will be accepted after
