Homes NSW HAFFF Round 3 – CHP Partnership Project - Camden

⁠⁠⁠Project goals

Homes NSW is calling for Requests for Proposal (RFP) from registered NSW Tier 1 Community Housing Providers (CHPs), or a consortium led by registered NSW Tier 1 CHPs, to be appointed as delivery partner(s) and property manager(s) for a social and affordable housing development located in the Camden LGA (the Project). The Project is expected to deliver 95 social and affordable dwellings under a Homes NSW construction funded delivery and CHP take-out model.

Scope

Homes NSW is seeking to appoint a CHP or consortia led by NSW Tier 1 CHPs (the Preferred CHP) via a single stage RFP to develop and operate the Project. Under this arrangement, the Preferred CHP will undertake development management services, procure a builder and deliver the project through to practical completion with ongoing long-term management rights of the development after completion.

Homes NSW will support the Preferred CHP through the delivery process, including funding arrangements and planning approvals, to ensure the successful delivery and ongoing management of the development. The Project will also seek to leverage Housing Australia Future Fund (HAFF) funding to support the delivery of social and affordable housing outcomes.
