Strengthening of SN2732 Bridge located on the Princes Highway (over North Main Drain), Port Fairy.
SN2732 Bridge is located on the Princes Highway West (over North Main Drain), Port Fairy. The structure has been identified as requiring strengthening works to meet the increased design loads of 75%SM1600 as per AS5100.2-2017. The three main concepts of the deck strengthening works consist of drilling and anchoring shear strengthening bolts at spans 1 and 5, installation of CFRP rods to the top of RC deck and kerbs, and affixing CFRP laminates to the soffit of the CIP deck.
