Provision of Boiler Maintenance & Repairs

⁠⁠⁠The North Metropolitan Health Service (NMHS) is a statutory authority governed by the NMHS Board.

The NMHS comprises of a mix of tertiary, specialist and generalist hospitals including:

• Queen Elizabeth II Medical Centre (QEII), including Sir Charles Gardiner Hospital (SCGH)
• Osborne Park Hospital (OPH)
• Graylands Hospital (GH)
• King Edward Memorial Hospital (KEMH)

The NMHS requires an appropriately licensed, qualified and experienced service provider to undertake the scheduled Boiler Maintenance at each main NMHS Hospital site. The scheduled maintenance and service shall be in accordance with the Occupational Safety & Health Regulations 1996, and AS2593:2021 Boilers - Safety management and supervision systems.

This is to maintain the continuous and uninterrupted supply of quality steam and/or high temperature water, which is predominantly used for air-conditioning purposes, the sterilisation of medical equipment, and for the provision of domestic hot water at each site.
