Request for Quotation: Brighton Le Sands Festival 2022

⁠⁠⁠Bayside Council is looking to engage the services of an Event Management Company with experience in producing and delivering a major festival over a long weekend, or series of 4 weekends, in May and June 2022.

The length and timing of the event will be finalised by Council, in consultation with the successful Management Company.

This will be a one-off event or events

The successful Event Management company will be experienced in delivering high end, professional events that attract large crowds of all ages and complement the environment in which it is set. The event will respect the diversity and cultures of both the local community and local businesses.

The successful Event Management company will be responsible for developing the concept with Council, organising and managing the event, including a major road closure, the creative look and feel of the event and pedestrian mall, booking and managing entertainment, stall holders and key stake holders.

The successful Event Management company will work collaboratively with Council's Director of City Life and Events Coordinator to deliver the project.

This event will be funded by grant from the NSW State Government and in accordance with the funding agreement strict budget and record keeping, including all receipts and invoices etc must be kept and available for audit by the Government.

The event will have a budget limit and will be designed in accordance with that budget to deliver the key components required by the NSW State Government.

Respondents must include a capability and capacity statement demonstrating skills and experience in the quote. The quote may be submitted in a separate appropriately labelled document

The successful applicant will be required to comply with Bayside Council's procurement policy when working with or engaging suppliers.

This may include using suppliers from Bayside Council's preferred suppliers panel, or obtaining the following:

One written quote for services valued between $2000 and $9999
Three written quotes for services/contracts valued between $10,000 and $49,000
A RFQ for services valued $50,000 to $250,000 or three quotes if value for money can be demonstrated.
