South Warrnambool Football Club Change Room Refurbishment

⁠⁠⁠ Warrnambool City Council is seeking tenders from suitably qualified & experienced contractors to carry out works to upgrade the South Warrnambool Football Club change room amenities. Works shall include the supply of all labour, plant, equipment & materials to complete the works in accordance with the drawings and specification.

• Partial demolition of sections of the existing building as described in the detailed drawings and as necessary to complete the modification of the building in accordance with the project intent, including the demolition of structural elements where applicable and the removal of finishes, fixtures and fittings to extent required to make way for new construction and finishes, including services above and below ground level as required.
• Cutting, repairing and making good of existing concrete floor slabs where required. Concreting associated with external works including concrete paving etc. Modification and making good of existing brick masonry walls where required including
• Repairs to existing walls or modifications to existing openings etc. to extent detailed and required.
• Wall, bulkhead and ceiling framing, including timber battening to receive finishes specified.
• Supply and/or installation of windows, doors, door frames, and all door locks, latches, and other
• Ironmongery and metal work etc. specified herein or under other sections.
• Supply and installation of all sundry joinery items including reveals, jambs, architraves, trims, wind moulds etc. as detailed, implied or required.
• Supply and installation of benches, cupboards, shelves, and other built-in fittings.
• Supply and installation of all linings and claddings not specified under other specialist trade headings.
• All other carpentry work detailed, or required to complete the work in accordance with the design intent of the documents.
• Construct and install built in fittings in accordance with the detail drawings. All units are to be supplied with handles, hinges and catches etc. Provide and fit cover beads as may be required to complete the installation.
• Materials specified to have paint or stain finish are to be finished by the Painter.
• Sewer drainage and water reticulation associated with the works including all modification works to existing installations required to make way for new structure such as relocation of pipework etc., modifications to roof plumbing associated with new roof penetrations etc., mechanical ventilation systems including provision of Wet area Exhaust systems including control wiring, and where required all testing and certification as required by authorities having jurisdiction over the plumbing works.
• Installation of the complete electrical services associated with the construction
• Supply and installation of recessed edged fibre cement sheet wall lining to new stud walls including battened walls.
• Preparation and painting internally all previously painted surfaces, and painting externally only surfaces affected by the works.
• Installation of waterproofing membrane at floor/wall and wall/wall junctions in wet areas. Supply and installation of ceramic floor tiles. Supply and installation of modular carpet tiles as specified. Supply and installation of polypropylene entry matting. Supply and installation of ceramic wall tiling.
