This Tender is invited by the Issuer.
AUSTRAC require an experienced Platforms Engineer contractor with technical team-leading skills who is able to work independently and collaboratively within a DevOps team.
The successful candidate is expected to have a broad range of skills not limited to those listed within Details of the Goods or Services and is able to provide leadership to external entities such as software providers.
The specified personnel will work collaboratively with a cross-functional delivery team to deliver the following services:
• Be the technical lead for the PaaS (DevOps) team working at AUSTRAC;
• Bear primary responsibility for defining procedures, standards and ways of working;
• Carry out development and operational duties;
• Support existing AUSTRAC products that use the Continuous Delivery Framework
• Liaise with the development teams to ensure seamless delivery of AUSTRAC’s new products.
The ideal candidate must be highly skilled and experienced in the following technologies:
• Docker/Kubernetes, kubespray, HELM, Kustomize, sealsecret, Ingress, Reverse Proxes, Load balancer, StorageKubernetes (Kustomize, Helm, Kubespray, Rancher), Spark, Kafka, Zookeeper, Splunk, ELK (Elastic, logstash and kibana)
• Ingress, Reverse Proxy, load balancer, storage
• Databasess (Postgress), Unix, Network knowledge
• Pipeline tools
• DevOps Tools (Jenkins, RunDeck, Gitlab), Cloud (AWS), Stash, Bitbucket
• Installing and maintaining the Atlassian toolset - JIRA, Confluence, Crowd
• Identity management system, specifically ForgeRock - OpenIDM, OpenAM, OpenID
• Big Data technologies including Hadoop
• Firewall configuration technology such as F5
