Tender Description
AMSA requires an AIS Service Manager to provide the following minimum functionality:
- Configure, monitor, and manage AIS base stations;
- Create and manage virtual AIS Aids to Navigation (AtoN);
- Manage real AIS Aids to Navigation (AtoN);
- Monitor health of AIS base stations and associated data communication network;
- Connect to AIS base stations and external (Non-AMSA) AIS data streams and base stations to receive data;
- Distribute data to internal and external users based on varying user needs;
- Allow end users (internal and external) to view, query and download AIS data from the System;
- Receive and send AIS messages via AMSA AIS base stations; and
- Monitor, report on, and send AIS messages to vessels within geofenced areas.
