This Tender is invited by the Issuer.

⁠⁠⁠Comcare requires the services of a Senior Support Technician in the Client Services team to provide support for Comcare’s computing environment while maintaining and upgrading the standard operating environment (SOE). As the Senior Support Technician, they will have well developed technical skills and great customer service skills to effectively support Comcare’s ICT environment.

The successful applicant will be part of a team that provides guidance and assistance in the management of service requests, incidents and ICT asset management to be based in the Canberra Office.

Role Responsibilities:

• Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability through monitoring and responding to alerts from the monitoring system.
• Maintain and support the following technologies:
o Windows Server environment
o SCCM/SCOM
o Citrix XenDesktop/XenApp/ADC
o Microsoft Intune
o Office 365/Azure AD
o Microsoft Exchange 2019/Online
o PC Hardware and other peripherals
o Video Conferencing
• Maintain and support the standard operating environment (SOE) and application packaging and patching
o Increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on routine tasks through automation scripts.
• Liaise with vendors and other teams to resolve technical issues and Manage priorities and workload out of the Service Management tool.

• Ability to translate complex issues to non-technical audiences
• Excellent problem-solving skills and work ethics with the ability to self-research solutions and workarounds
• Self-motivated with a “can do” attitude in responding to the challenges presented by front-line support
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
