Rail Projects Victoria (RPV) is an agency of the Major Transport Infrastructure Authority (MTIA) and is responsible for the development and delivery of rail projects throughout the State of Victoria, Australia including the Metro Tunnel Project (MTP), Regional Rail Revival (RRR), Sunbury Line Upgrade (SLU), the Western Rail Plan (WRP), Geelong Fast Rail (GFR) and Melbourne Airport Rail (MAR). Description:

Rail Projects Victoria (RPV) on behalf of the Victorian Government (State) requires the provision of Rail Operational Planning Advisory Services to support the planning, development and delivery of current and future infrastructure rail projects. The Rail Operational Planning Advisory Services will provide a Network Operators perspective to ensure the integration, coordination, consistency across all major rail infrastructure interventions. The appointed Service Provider(s) will be highly experienced, capable, and qualified to respond to the dynamic and expanding nature of the projects.

The following provides a summary of the capabilities sought through this engagement:

• Development and production of operational documentation;
• Network and service planning and customer outcomes;
• Rail system modelling;
• Rolling stock; enabling infrastructure & whole of lifecycle;
• Strategic thinking and innovation;
• Demonstrated proficiency and capability in responding to identified skill and or capability needs; and
• Project management, strategic workshop facilitation, optioneering.

RPV is now calling for Requests for Proposal (RFPs).

Interested Parties must meet the pre-qualification requirements in order to participate in the procurement process, including accessing the full suite of RFP Documentation, attending the Industry Briefing and lodging an RFP Response.
