Tender Description
The Council of the City of Sydney ("Council") invites tenders for the carrying out of the planning and delivery of NAIDOC in the City Event Management for the 2022 event, with two options to extend to cover the 2023 and 2024 events in accordance with this Request for Tender.
NAIDOC Week celebrations are held across Australia each July to celebrate the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. NAIDOC is celebrated not only in Indigenous communities, but by Australians from all walks of life. NAIDOC week is an opportunity to participate in a range of activities and to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. NAIDOC in the City is an event held in Hyde Park on a weekend day during NAIDOC Week.
The Service Provider will plan and deliver a turnkey NAIDOC in the City event which must address the following as outlined in Part B Specification:
- event programming
- production management and delivery
- stakeholder management
- sponsorship
- reporting and compliance; and
- marketing and communications
A fixed fee of $195,000 excluding GST will be paid to the Service Provider per year for the planning and delivery of each event.
Tenderers must submit tenders in the manner required by this document.
