Tender Description
The Council is seeking responses to this Request for Tender (RFT) 2122-029 for the provision of haulage and processing of scrap metal, e-waste and other materials including car batteries, household batteries, mobile phones, lighting waste, x-rays, cassettes/videotapes/cds/dvds collected at the Nillumbik Shire Council Recycling Centre located at 290 Yan Yean Rd, Plenty VIC 3090 and at a number (currently four) small e-waste collection hubs located across the municipality.
The Council is seeking to appoint a single provider to deliver the Services.
The initial term of the new contract arrangement is for five (5) years.
There are two (2) x one (1) year extension options available at Councils discretion. The total duration of this contract, including the exercise of any options, shall not exceed seven (7) years.
It is intended that the new contract arrangement will commence on or around 1 April 2022.
