Tender Description
Council invite companies to download tender documentation and submit a tender for the abovementioned contract.
Please ensure tender submissions are submitted before the tender close date and time.
Late tenders will not be accepted.
All tender questions must be raised via the online tender forum .
A site visit of the 3 libraries will be made available (subject to government restrictions). Attendance at the site visit will be mandatory for a tender response to be considered.
All contractors will need to comply with DHHS guidelines on mask and vaccination status prior to entering Council Libraries.
Chelsea Library is currently undergoing renovations and hence a work zone. All participants are to wear appropriate footwear and a hi-vis vest before entering and being inducted by the Principal Builder.
The provision of library material sorters for the Kingston library branches of Chelsea, Cheltenham and Parkdale. Floor plans for these branches, with space allocated for a sorter, are shown in the Architectural Drawings. Tenderers are to supply a proposed/indicative layout of the sorter configuration within this space along with their submission.
The scope includes the layout design, the provision of equipment, its installation, configuration, testing, deployment, and documentation.
Contractor to determine if what is available on-site (electrical supply and data points) is satisfactory to operate the sorter, if not an allowance is to be provided in the submission. Photos of existing switchboards and data points for each branch have been included in the Architectural Drawings.
The successful tenderer will be required to provide Shop Drawings of the Sorters for Council review and comment before manufacture. Successful tenderer to allow a Shop Drawing review of 14 days
