Cleaning and Ancillary Services - Council Assets & Facilities

⁠⁠⁠Council is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced organisation/s for the supply and provision of cleaning ancillary services throughout the Sutherland local government area.

This tender relates to the cleaning and servicing of Sutherland Shire Council Buildings, Public Toilets, Tennis Shelters, BBQs and Hard-Court Surfaces to a standard acceptable to Council.

The detailed specification in Part 5 of this tender directs the tasks and standards to be met in the performance of:

• Programmed cleaning;
• Periodic cleaning tasks;
• Fixed attended site cleaning;
• Special events cleaning; and
• Response cleaning.

The scope of work is divided into six (6) parts being:

• Council Operational Buildings, Halls and Libraries
• Cronulla Central
• Hazelhurst Regional Arts Gallery and Leisure Centres including Indoor Sports facilities,
• Early Education Centres
• Public toilets, Tennis Shelters, BBQ’s and drinking fountains
• Hard Court and Hard Surface Pressure Washing

The Contractor can submit for all parts or an individual part(s) of the tender and the contract may be offered under separable portions at Council’s sole discretion depending on the tenders received.

The services to be provided must include provision of all resources, i.e., labour, plant, equipment and materials and the knowledge, care and skills to carry out works to the standards specified and any applicable legislative, WH & S and Environmental requirements, all as detailed in the tender documents.

A pre-tender briefing will be held online via Teams at 9:00am on Wednesday 17th November 2021. Attendance is recommended but not mandatory.
