Victorian Small Business Commission (VSBC) Mediation Panel 2021 - 2023

⁠⁠⁠The Department of Jobs, Precincts & Regions (DJPR) drives economic development and job creation across Victoria, incorporating investment attraction and facilitation, trade, agriculture, creative industries, and resources.

DJPR is calling for tender submissions for the Victorian Small Business Commission (VSBC) mediation panel from December 2021 – November 2023. The VSBC is an independent government agency led by the Victorian Small Business Commissioner that advocates on issues affecting small business, educates people in small business about their rights and responsibilities, and helps them to avoid or resolve disputes. VSBC offers low-cost dispute resolution services, including mediation, and champion the rights of small businesses.

The VSBC is keen to create a diverse mediation panel (Metropolitan, Regional and Rural) that can provide an inclusive and accessible service. In addition, VSBC is looking to appoint mediators that identify as or have experience in providing mediation services to Victorian Aboriginal people, Victorians with a disability, disadvantaged Victorians or clients who have mental health challenges.

Introduction – contains an overview of the opportunity presented;

Part A – The Invitation:

• A.1 – About this Invitation: provides details about the procurement opportunity;
• A.2 – Specifications: provides the technical requirements for the Goods and/or Services in respect of which DJPR invites Offers;

Part B – Conditions of Participation: sets out the conditions applying to the Invitation and the Invitation Process, and consists of:

• B.1 - DJPR Specific Requirements: provides DJPR's specific requirements for the Invitation Process; and
• B.2 - Victorian Government Requirements: sets out the terms and conditions applying to the Invitation Process generally;

Part C – Proposed Contract: sets out the proposed terms and conditions that will apply to the provision of the Goods and/or Services as set out in Part A.2 – Specifications; and
Part D – The Offer: This part is in a template format for completion by the Invitee (i.e. Mediator).
