Queanbeyan Palerang Regional Council are calling for Tenders for the Design and construction of sports facility buildings as part of the new Regional Sports Complex.
The contract includes the detailed design based on DA Drawings of a major and two minor pavilion buildings to service new regional sporting complex. Both buildings include change rooms, referee rooms and storage facilities for sporting groups. The minor pavilions (approx. 400m2) is single level. The Major pavilion (approx. 900m2 with two levels) includes testing facilities; conference and function spaces and a commercial kitchen and Film and viewing platform so that the facility can host and televise A league games and national championships as well as local sporting events and accommodate local community use.
The contract which includes construction of the major pavilion and one of the minor pavilion is expected to be awarded in Early 2022 with works to be completed by March 2023.
