Werribee Irrigation District Modernisation Stages 4 & 5 PIPES SUPPLY

⁠⁠⁠Southern Rural Water provides forward notice that procurement of a pipe supplier for stages 4 and 5 of the Werribee Irrigation District modernisation project will commence in November 2021.

The pipe supplier’s scope will include;

Stage 4 (Seperable Portion A)

Supply and delivery of pipes and fitting for approximately 7.9 kilometres of pipelines ranging in size from DN1000 to DN300. Pipes and fitting are required to be available for delivery commencing mid-April 2022.

Stage 5 (Separable Portion B)

Supply and delivery of pipes and fitting for approximately 8.3 kilometres of pipelines ranging in size from DN675 to DN300. Pipes and fitting are required to be available for delivery commencing late April 2023.

The pipeline design specifies GRP pipes and a mixture of GRP and MSCL fittings, nonetheless alternative pipe materials will be considered.

The Victorian government’s Social Procurement Framework, Victorian Industry Participation policy and Major Projects Skills Guarantee will apply to this procurement.
