Monash University seeks Proposals for a suitable Application as a Service platform that would enable the continuous delivery of the Monash Virtual Environment (MoVE) service.
- MoVe is a way for students and staff to access the specialised software and applications they need, anywhere and anytime. This "Application as a service" offering has been available to students and staff over the last 3+ years, and allows the ability to securely learn, study or operate on their own devices remotely.
Key objectives of the RFP is to find a product that would:
- Offer the same or similar features and functions of the current MoVE service
- Identify the best value service/platform for Monash University over the next 3 years.
The current MoVE platform is provided by the Citrix Virtual Desktop Instance (CLOUD VIRTUAL APP AND DESKTOP SERVICE - VDI) product.
