Construction of the Wild Koala Breeding Facility & Redevelopment of Port Macquarie Koala Hospital

Expressions of Interest are invited from organisations wishing to be pre-registered to tender for the construction of the Wild Koala Breeding Facility, at Guulabaa, Place of Koala, in the Cowarra State Forest and the Redevelopment of the Port Macquarie Koala Hospital.

The Wild Koala Breeding Facility and koala tourist attraction will be constructed on a 2Ha site in the Cowarra State Forrest and will be home to the world's first wild koala breeding program and will provide education and information about wild koalas to the public.

The redevelopment of the Port Macquarie Koala Hospital will increase the current footprint with an architecturally-designed building. The building will replace and expand the existing koala care facilities and enclosures and include a larger koala exhibition area, a building for education, and a clinic treatment area.
